These sisal, woven baskets are handmade by a weaving cooperative in southeastern Kenya. The women hand-dye the sisal fibers and weave them into these beautiful works of art. These are woven from a thinner twine, requiring a higher skill to weave but making them more intricate.
Use this basket as a planter, for storage, or to liven up a shelf! Each basket is uniquely made.
The sizes range: Medium: 8-10" wide and tall (some are wider, while some are taller)
PRO TIP: Place a small riser in the bottom of the basket to lift the planter to sit higher.
